Ayurveda considers the combination of strawberries (or any fresh fruit) and dairy incompatible for digestion. Fruit and nut milks, however, are a great combination. This delicious milkshake will satisfy your need for a nutritious snack or quick breakfast. Make your own variations by substituting other fruit for the strawberries, like mango, peaches, or raspberries.
Almonds are the only nuts that are known to alkalize the blood, while all others acidify the blood. Of all the nuts, almonds contain the highest amount of arginine, an amino acid that boosts the immune system and inhibits tumor growth.
