HOW TO USE

  1. Add the package contents and ghee or olive oil to boiling water. Cover and simmer on low for about 20 minutes, or until the lentils begin to disintegrate.
  2. Turn off the heat and whisk the soup to a creamy smooth texture. You may add more water if you desire a lighter consistency; adjust the salt to taste.
  3. Serve hot and garnish with a drizzle of ghee or olive oil, chopped cilantro or dill, freshly ground black pepper and fresh lime juice to taste.

Variation: Add diced vegetables to step 1 or chopped leafy greens in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Adjust the salt to taste.
