HOW TO USE

* See packaging for exact quantities

  1. Add package contents and ghee or olive oil to boiling water. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add more water if the kitchari begins to stick to the bottom or dry out. The consistency should be creamy but not soupy.
  2. Turn off the heat and let the kitchari set for 3 to 5 minutes, covered.
  3. Serve hot and garnish with a drizzle of ghee or olive oil, fresh lime juice and a sprinkle of chopped fresh herbs such as cilantro, basil, dill or parsley.

Variation: Add diced vegetables to step 1 or chopped leafy greens in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Adjust the salt to taste.

This product is designed to have the entire package contents cooked at once.

Balanced Kitchari A+

I like the single serve Balanced Kitchari from Divya’s very much. Once or twice a week I serve it as a side dish with dinner. It’s nicely seasoned but not too spicy. My partner likes it too! Definitely recommended!

So great to have on hand!

The Balanced Kitchari is so easy to make and handy! I love the convenience when I don't have time to make my own. Kudos.
